Bomet University Student Allegedly Stabs Boyfriend After A Break Up

A male student in his third year at Bomet University was stabbed in the chest by his girlfriend, a fellow third-year student at the same university, after he informed her that he wanted to end their relationship and part ways immediately.
The incident occurred in the Sewage residential area on the outskirts of Bomet town, where the 21-year-old suspect had visited her boyfriend with another female friend. The victim collapsed and fell down immediately after being stabbed with a kitchen knife the suspect had hidden in her undergarments.
The other female friend restrained the suspect and raised an alarm, leading to other residents in the estate rushing to the scene. The unconscious victim was rushed to Tenwek hospital for medical attention.
The suspect was arrested by school security officers and handed over to Bomet central police station for interrogation. Bomet Central Sub-county deputy police commandant Bashir Ali confirmed the incident.
