An Iranian couple has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for dancing in public, The video shows the couple dancing in front of an Iranian respected landmark ,angering authorities.. The video was shared on tiktok and quickly went viral, attracting millions of views. However, it also attracted the attention of the Iranian authorities, who arrested the couple and charged them for encouraging public prostitution' and gathering with the intention of disrupting national security

The couples  were both denied access to lawyers and had their bail attempts rejected, the outlet added.
