Moya David, a Kenyan dancer, has announced his intention to take legal action against individuals who are copying and stealing his dance moves, stating in an interview with SPM Buzz that he is frustrated with people who are using his choreography in inappropriate ways without providing him with credit.
David emphasized that he developed the choreography from scratch and that it is his original creation, leading him to decide to patent it.
He expressed sadness about people utilizing his dance in inappropriate ways and failing to acknowledge the credit it is due. David is well-known for his performances, in which he entertains people in streets, markets, homes, restaurants, baby showers, and birthday parties with his choreographed dance to the song "Mi Amor," culminating with him presenting the individual with flowers or a gift.
