Machakos University Student Shot by Police During Protests Dies

Machakos University student who was shot by a police officer during a student protest on Monday, December 5, has died. Brilliant Anusu died at Machakos Level 5 Hospital this morning thursday
The Second-Year student had been fighting for his life at the hospital after undergoing surgery. The student and his colleagues had staged a demonstration against insecurity in the area. The police officer who shot Anusu, Corporal Michael Mulwa, was arrested and locked up at Machakos Police Station, where he was attached.
